The house is located in an Isolated piece of land along the banks of the San Juan River, about 800 meters up-river from the Sant Fé bridge. You can leave your car below the bridge for protection. At this point you will board the boat provided by your host for transportation to the property. There are two towns nearby, one is San Carlos (10 kms) and Las Azucenas (2.5 kms). For the guests' covenience there is a new a mini-market very well stocked, the guests can find vegetables, beverages: àlcoholic and non-alcoholic, baby products, caned products, and some other basic things you might need or want during your stay with us. It is located at about 10 minutes drive from Lacasadelriosanjuan.

To get around you will need a boat or a vehicle. A small boat is available for a small hourly fee, depending on the price of gas. Currently the boat can be rented for short distances for $ 30 dollars and hour. For long trips please talk to the host for availability and pricing. You can also take the boat provided by the host to reach your vehicle and drive around. There are two towns nearby, Las Azucenas (2.5 kms) and San Carlos (10 kms). San Carlos is the most important town in Río San Juan.
